Privacy notice
This is the privacy notice for www.leopardynonsense.com. LeopardyNonsense is run by me, Elaine Macintyre, a sole trader. This notice explains the types of personal data I may collect about you when you interact with my site. It also explains how I will store and handle that data and keep it safe. What sort of information do I collect?
- If you accept the cookies: Information about how you use the website and where you have come to the website from. This information is anonymous and I can’t identify you from it.
- If you sign up for my newsletter: your email address.
- If you buy something from my online shop: your name, billing/delivery address, orders and receipts, email and telephone number.
How do I use this information and keep it safe?
- I use the information collected by the website’s cookies to understand how people find and use my website and how I can make it better.
- If you sign up for my email newsletter, I won’t use your email for any other purpose, and I won’t pass it on to anyone except the email marketing service Mailchimp, which I use to send out my newsletter. You can find out more about how Mailchimp keeps data secure here. You can use the unsubscribe link in the emails to opt out at any time, or contact me and ask to be removed from the list.
- If you buy something from my online shop, I use your data to process your order. Access to your details is password protected and I delete it when it’s no longer required.
- I use PayPal to process payments so I don’t have access to your payment card details. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to PayPal, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information. - To send your order, some of your data will be passed to Royal Mail, so they can deliver your order. You can find out more about how Royal Mail keeps data secure here.
